URGENT AND IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL NEWPORT RESIDENTS
We have received reports that a gentleman with graying hair has approached several
residents claiming to be an inspector for the homeowner’s association. He has used
the name “Sam”.
The Association’s inspectors only inspect from their vehicles. They do not knock
on doors and speak to individuals regarding deed restriction violations. If you
are approached by anyone claiming to represent the Association please call the police
and report the incident. To confirm that it is not an Association employee you may

YARD DEBRIS PICK UP
On April 16, 2012 we contracted to have large limbs, cut up trees (placed at curb)
and yard debris (bagged) picked up.
We will have the same service on Monday, May 14, 2012. If you have dead trees that
you can safely cut down, cut up and place at the curb or large limbs, bags of grass
clippings, weeds and/or leaves, please call our office with your address and we
will place you on the pick up schedule.
We receive a lot of complaints regarding vacant lots that have trash, etc. If you
and your neighbors want to drag the debris to the curb and call us with the address,
we will also have that debris hauled away.

Lake & River Permits and Keys
We are now issuing permits for 2012. The cost of the permit has increased to $10
per permit. New keys are also being issued. If you have a working key please bring
it to the management office and you will be given a new key at no charge. If you
are obtaining a key for the first time there is an issuance charge of $25 per key
(no more than 2 keys per household).
There is also a $50 boat launch fee this year. You will be given a sticker for your
boat trailer and your permit. There are boat ramps at the lake and we are currently
having the boat ramp at the river repaired.

Tennis Court Keys
If you have not done so, please stop by the management office to exchange your tennis
court key. There is no charge for the exchange.
